# Find and manage your services

> Understand service statuses, open service controls, rename a service, and respond to node or provisioning states.

Open [Dashboard → Services](https://applaunch.org/dashboard/services) to see hosting services attached to your account.

## Service statuses

- **Provisioning** means AppLaunch is still preparing the service.
- **Active** means the service is ready for normal controls.
- **Suspended** means access is restricted, commonly because billing or an administrative condition requires attention.
- **Failed** means provisioning or another required setup step did not complete.
- **Inactive** means the service is not currently operating.

Open the service for more specific status and actions. Do not create a duplicate because provisioning takes longer than expected.

## Service controls

Every service has an **Overview** or product entry point and product-specific tabs. Domain, files, database, logs, backups, ports, and runtime tools appear only when supported by that service and plan.

You can edit the service's display name from its header. Renaming changes the dashboard label, not public domains, database names, container names, or subscriptions.

## Node offline message

Some hosting services run on an assigned node. When it is offline, actions that require that node are disabled until connectivity returns. Do not repeatedly submit the same operation. Existing backup downloads may remain available even when create, restore, and delete actions are not.

## Restore in progress

During a restore, data-changing service controls are locked. Wait for the restore progress to finish before editing files, changing databases, starting applications, or making another restore request.

## Get help with a state

Check [AppLaunch status](https://status.applaunch.org) for a current incident. If no incident explains the problem, [create a support ticket](https://applaunch.org/dashboard/support) with the service name, status, action, error, and approximate UTC time.
